Bonita & Rajiv Civil ceremony at Warwick House

December 9, 2013 in Weddings

I really cant believe its that time of the year again, really is it December already?!! My time has been taken away from my blog working on my back log of editing all those beautiful weddings I’ve had the honour of shooting this year. Bonita and Rajiv are such a special couple to me, they made me feel like family, such a warm and welcoming couple and their families. I will be posting their pre-wedding session too which was shot in Convent Garden and also The Mint Leaf restaurant in central London where Rajiv had taken Bonita on their first date. Bonita and Rajiv had booked their own private table with its own butler and I was treated to the fine dining experience the Mint Leaf had to offer, thank you so much it was very sweet of you, and every time I go past the restaurant I am now reminded of you guys!

Ok to kick off here’s a selection of Bonia and Rajiv’s civil ceremony held at the beautiful Warwick House, also massive thank you to my friend and fellow photo colleague Rahul Khona for coming to assist me (after having shoot a wedding in Spain the night before!)

Faiza & Faisal: Elegant Muslim Wedding At The Waldorf Hilton

October 2, 2013 in Weddings

I remember meeting Faiza at the start of the year. I was on my health kick and feeling so positive (despite the winter weather!) I had had a flurry of enquiries at the start of the year with many dates already taken and ones with double or triple enquiries for a particular date. My intuition was telling me this bride and this wedding photographer was a match made in photo heaven! Faiza breathed style and class, her taste for simple and classic chic I knew straight away I would absolutely love to shoot her wedding.

The wedding day scene was set at the exquisite Waldorf Hilton Hotel nestled in Convent Garden one of my all time favorite parts of London. It was so lovely working with a team of familiar faces again with Zuleka from Brocade Events who creates the most dreamiest of wedding stages and floral designs, as well as super talented makeup artist Ambreen, who’s work has graced many a Asiana Wedding magazine cover and whom Ive had the privilege to work alongside many brides over the years; yeah we make a powerful trio of ladies I must say!!

Having had such a busy year traveling and shooting, I am slowly starting to catch up on the backlog of blogging, and never really had the time to mention that Faiza and Faisal’s wedding was featured in the summer issue Asiana Wedding Magazine! It was also picked up by the Asian wedding blog My Asian Wed! You may not see me a lot these days, but I still do a secret happy dance and still feel overwhelmed whenever my work is featured, and I warmly express my gratitude both to my lovely couples and to those publishers and viewers who continue to support, thank you guys!
