It was an honour to be asked to be part of such an inspirational line up of photographers, speakers who have traveled from all around the world to join at Snap Photography Festival I have been asked many times over the years whether I’d consider teaching my own workshop, though I’ve been shooting for nearly 10 years now, it’s something I have shied away from.
However upon hearing the line up to such an event, with guest speakers whom I have looked up to since I started this journey and watched them grow over the years it was something I couldn’t say no to.
Anyone who knows me, knows how ridiculously nervous I was, I had shot a big beautiful wedding over the past weekend, someone who is part of the wedding industry. That did not phase me at all, in fact I was super chilled despite some technical adversities. Thank you to all those who attended my workshop and came to hear me talk about my experiences. I was delighted to see so many faces! And the wonderful feeling of positivity and support that was echoed throughout the event. Big shout out to Jon from S6 Photography & Laura @bisforbabb who put together such a wonderful event.
Also massive thank you to my girl and new bff Tahera for stepping in and being my bride/model, along with her super slick hubby Keith. I know it was pressure for you guys (having missed their trains and almost getting run over all in a mad attempt to arrive on time!) I really appreciate it! Tahera is also a fellow photographer and a you tube vlogger so go follow her guys @taheratalks on YouTube! .
Massive thank you’s to my super talented hair and makeup artist Shafika Sodawala your calm nature had us all relaxed from our pre nerves jitters. You are simply wonderful! .
Sam Hurd was wonderful to meet you and hear you speak and teach, you’re an inspiration. .
Jonas Peterson a legend it was an absolute pleasure to get to meet you finally, and for your wonderfully refreshing and frank talk, thanks for sharing, and yes (bleep) passion ✌🏻️
