Arabian Night

June 19, 2011 in Pre-Wedding

Arabian theme? Yes please! I love it when a bride (or bride to be) goes to town with details, and adds that personal touch. Sana’s pre wedding party included a golden lamp, an Arabian tent, Lebanese food, and some seriously cool Arabian music. I got to know Sana and her family after I shot her engagement party last year, as well as shooting her friend’s wedding last year; I’m officially an extended member of the family ;)

Rabia & Jameel

June 7, 2011 in Weddings

When I first started my photography adventure a couple of years ago, I came across the works of Jameel Amini. A very talented fashion photographer, I was in awe;- who would have known I were to shoot his wedding a couple of years later?! I was so honoured. I had such a blast shooting this event! Jameel, Rabia and their family were the perfect hosts, and also got to give a big shout out Jameel’s brother Adeel, who happens to work for channel 4′s Come Dine with me, as well as being a comedian and had me in stitches as soon as he took the mic!

The cinematographers were an amazing husband and wife duo from Shutterbox Films;- I knew Jameel would know a thing a two when coming down to the details (he even designed his Mrs’s outfit!) but when I got home and looked at Shutterbox Films’ website, I was blown away. I highly recommend you brides and grooms to check them out!
